Fundador Solera is aged in 500-liter American oak barrels that previously contained sherry, using the traditional Criaderas y Soleras system. The color is a very intense amber yellow with golden reflections. The nose is rich with complex sensations of toasting and sweet spice, with hints of vanilla, cloves, and cinnamon, followed by tobacco, milk chocolate, and leather, with slight hints of dried apricot. The taste is enveloping and decisive, powerful but smooth, with just the right body well integrated into the alcoholic note and rich in spicy returns, towards a dry finish with citrus returns.
