Cachaça Magnífica is produced at Fazenda do Anil, on the border between the municipalities of Vassouras and Miguel Pereira, in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro. The creation of such a special cachaça is a dream come true for its producer, João Luiz Coutinho de Faria, who has always aimed to produce a quality cachaça that could be appreciated and considered on par with the best spirits in the world. Produced from the best fresh sugarcane juice, it is distilled in a unique still known as "Alegria," designed and built by João Luiz, who in addition to producing cachaça is also an experienced engineer, and then ages for three years in Ipé wood barrels, a typical Brazilian Amazonian essence, is finally filtered, preserving both the typical cachaça notes and the parts, mainly vegetable rather than vanilla, given by aging in wood.
