Grappa Vecchia Riserva - Distilleria Giovanni Poli Santa Massenza

Ours is a small family-run business, located in S.Massenza in the Valle dei Laghi a few kilometres from Trento towards Riva del Garda, where the distillation tradition is centenary, witnessed by the five still functioning distilleries out of the thirteen historical ones located in the town.

Grape variety: Blend of different red and white vines. Matured for 30 months. Pomace from the Trentino valleys

Distillation: Artisanal bain-marie distillation according to the "Tullio Zadra" system, a very slow method that allows the right selection of volatile substances and then condensation of the best aromas and flavours. A second distillation is carried out to improve finesse.

Ageing: 30 months in oak barrels

Alcohol content: 41% volume

Bottle volume: 70 cc

Serving temperature: 15 degrees

Tasting: Amber-coloured, intense aroma reminiscent of vanilla and apricot, soft, full and velvety
