Chartreuse Genepy 40% – Alpine Herbal Liqueur – 70 cl

A génépi produced according to the centuries-old secret recipe of the Chartreuse monks, rich in the aromas of alpine plants, here in a dry and concentrated version. Traditionally, the artemisia flower—which is referred to by the generic term “génépi”—is harvested in August on the slopes of the Mont Blanc massif. The flowers and alpine herbs are then macerated in alcohol.

The Carthusian monks, creators of the oldest liqueur still on the market, are the sole custodians and producers of these splendid French liqueurs, famous throughout the world. For centuries, Chartreuse has maintained a profile, quality, and rigor that only monastic communities can achieve.
