REPOSED OCHO TEQUILA

Tequila Ocho demonstrates how terroir is fundamental for agave too, determining the distinctive character of the distillate, just as happens for wine. A real turning point for the production of Tequila, which, almost always, is described on a very general level, without understanding how the soil, with its composition, exposure and microclimate, is a fundamental part of the final result in the glass. However, the innovations that Carlos and Tomas have introduced do not end here: it is in fact necessary to remember that the Ocho brand represents the first Tequila that has indicated on the label, in addition to the precise land - called "rancho" - in which the agave, also the year in which the distillation took place. Another detail that brings the way of understanding Tequila closer to wine.

Ocho Reposado is produced with 100% blue agave and follows an aging process of 8 weeks and 8 days in reconditioned x-American Whiskeys, so that the hints of wood do not cover the notes of the agave. Tequila Ocho is not cold filtered to maintain esters and flavors in their purity.
