Mazzetti D'Altavilla dal 1846 There are 8 products.

One of the most awarded Grapperie, in Italy and abroad.

While this was very laborious and time-consuming in the early days, as the years went by, first Filippo and then his son Luigi (1842-1911), who in the meantime moved the enlarged distillery to Altavilla Monferrato, learned to know and appreciate the distillates obtained from the marc from the different areas of Monferrato. They thus discovered, as their distillation technique was gradually refined, under Luigi's son Filippo Mazzetti (1868-1943), the immense sensory heritage hidden in the folds of our land and its grapes.

With the advent of the new century, the Mazzetti distillery became increasingly consolidated as a production reality indelibly marked by its adherence to the tradition of the Monferrini distillers and became, with Felice first (1902-1981), and Franco (1931-2015) later, one of the most prestigious and award-winning grapperie, both in Italy and abroad. Today, Cesare, Nicoletta and Giorgio, the sixth generation, are delighted to present, almost 180 years after those first journeys by Filippo, their enviable collection of single-vine Grappas, all from Piedmont.

The pomace from these single vines, artfully distilled in copper steam stills using the discontinuous method, and the family's passion are the only ingredients of Mazzetti d'Altavilla Grappas, which, from the most traditional to the most refined and aged, are, like those produced by Filippo, representative of all the fragrances, biodiversity and traditions of our land: Monferrato and Piedmont.
