Strasserhof: Wine Excellence in Varna - Novacella (BZ)

In the heart of the Isarco Valley, Strasserhof is a small farm that has been producing high-quality wines since 2003, thanks to the efforts of Hannes Baumgartner. With an annual production of less than 50,000 bottles, Strasserhof stands out for its meticulous care in the vineyard and cellar, using only grapes from its own vineyards.

The range of white wines includes eight labels, each characterized by the unique aroma of local grape varieties and the elegance of the terroir. Among the flagship wines is Anjo, a fine blend of indigenous grapes fermented and aged for 12 months in 20 hl barrels, a tribute to Hannes' parents. This extraordinary wine encapsulates the producer's passion and dedication.

Hannes Baumgartner has an extraordinary ability to interpret grape varieties, creating original and distinctive wines that bring out every nuance of terroir. Completing the offering is Zweigelt, a wine that represents the winemaking tradition of Novacella, with vineyards located more than 700 meters above sea level, among the northernmost in the province of Bolzano.
