Domaine Sathenay, in the heart of the French commune of Gevrey-Chambertin in Burgundy, has been family-run for more than 150 years, albeit spread over several hundred hectares. Starting with carefully selected raw materials of the highest quality, the entire range of liqueurs produced by the company is excellent and fine, capable of symbolizing the perfect marriage of finesse, richness and harmony. For the production of Sathenay Cassis the famous "Noir de Bourgogne" blackcurrant variety, the most aromatic in the world, is used above all. The production of the liqueur respects the fruit and takes into consideration its fragility: maceration of the blackcurrant berries in alcohol takes place in rotating stainless steel drums, protected from air and light. After passing through the press, the filtered infusions are sweetened exclusively with dry sugar. No additives are added, not even those authorized by law, and it is made only with pure fruit, pure juice, pure sugar.
