Capichera

Capichera is an Italian winery located in a corner of Sardinia, nestled among the granite rocks of Gallura, in Arzachena, in a unique and fascinating natural scenery dripping with important and ancient traditions.

A family-run winery that at the end of the 1970s, following a great intuition, determined an important oenological transition not only in Sardinia: it was the first winery to enhance with remarkable success the barrique aging of pure Vermentino, proposing a model based on a production of the highest quality and continuous research through a viticulture respectful and rigorous of the identity of the territory, allowing this vine to reveal its great peculiarities and characteristics.

Many influential critics in the field affirm, to this day, that the story of Capichera is the story of quality Vermentino.

Passion, investment of great resources and improvement of the production model over the years have defined new and high quality standards, with priority attention to each vineyard and individual plot, enhancing its characteristics.
