Suavia: The Tessari Family's Vineyard Tradition.

The Tessari family has been rooted in the cultivation of vines since 1800 in Fittà, a charming hamlet located 300 meters above sea level north of Soave. The name of our farm, Suavia, is dedicated to the historic Scaligera citadel, recalling the ancient Latin toponym.

In 1982, Giovanni Tessari and his wife Rosetta, recognizing the unique potential of their land, decided to venture into a personal project: making wine from their own grapes. Today, their children Meri, Valentina and Alessandra continue this tradition, keeping the connection with nature and their roots alive.

A Family and Its Territory

The history of the Tessari family is a testament to dedication and passion for the vine. The 20 hectares of vineyards are cultivated exclusively with the native varieties of Soave: Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave. These two white grapes are the true protagonists of this territory, with vines planted by paternal grandparents that are now over seventy years old.

A Winery at the Cutting Edge

Our modern and efficient winery is designed for the exclusive production of white wines. Its rustic architecture blends perfectly with the surrounding vineyard landscape. In addition, the winery takes advantage of gravity, minimizing the movement of musts and wines to preserve their quality.

An Excellent Soave

Suavia represents excellence in the Veneto winemaking scene. With an extraordinary environment and a passionate family, we produce wines that tell the story and tradition of our territory. Discover our Soave and be won over by a unique wine experience.
