La Copa is produced from the meeting of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Soleras method and aged for 8 years. The meticulous selection and careful proportioning, kept in secrecy, of the botanicals aim to achieve the aromatic balance and perfect equilibrium between the sweet and bitter notes typical of vermouth. Roman wormwood, cloves, orange peel, angelica, nutmeg and the other botanicals of the original recipe are added to the wine blend in maceration.
Hints of orange, clove and cinnamon immediately stand out on the nose, accompanied by the clearly recognizable aromaticity of Oloroso. Slight hints of mint contribute to making this vermouth very balanced on the nose.
On the palate, spicy and herbaceous notes and a very balanced bitter finish are elegantly expressed, characterizing this ancient recipe with finesse.
