Komos Tequila: An explosion of Mediterranean and Mexican flavors.
Komos is not just a tequila, it is an experience that combines the allure of the Mediterranean with the artisanal tradition of Mexico. Imagine a catamaran plying the crystal-clear waves, a goliardic party under the scorching sun, and then an elegant evening at the Met Gala: Komos is at home in both contexts.
The name, evocative of ancient festivals and symposia, hints at the idea of conviviality and joie de vivre. Komos has redefined the concept of luxury tequila, creating a product that stands out for its sophistication and uniqueness.
Two souls, one heart:
Mexican soul: Komos tequila is made from 100 percent Weber blue agave in Tequila Valley, Jalisco, using artisanal methods passed down from generation to generation. The agaves are cooked in traditional stone ovens, spontaneously fermented and distilled twice in copper stills.
Mediterranean soul: The Mediterranean influence is evident in the aging in French oak barrels formerly red wine from Napa Valley, which gives the tequila an amber color and a smooth, complex taste. A final touch of aeration in Greek wine amphorae completes the process, giving a velvety, harmonious sip.
Komos varieties:
Komos offers a range of tequilas to satisfy every palate:
Blanco: Transparent and crystal clear, with a fresh, vibrant taste of agave, citrus and white pepper.
Reposado: Resting for two months in French oak barrels, acquiring an amber color and notes of vanilla, cinnamon and spice.
Añejo: Aged for a minimum of 18 months in American oak barrels, with a complex, round taste of chocolate, caramel and dried fruit.
Extra Añejo: The finest in the range, aged for more than 3 years in French and American oak barrels, with a smooth, enveloping taste of tobacco, honey and licorice.
Komos: The perfect tequila for any occasion.
Whether you're aboard a catamaran at sunset or at an elegant dinner party, Komos is the ideal tequila for celebrating life together. A distillate that will surprise you with its complexity and harmony, a true sensory journey between the lands of Mexico and the Mediterranean.
