Sartarelli
Poggio San Marcello (AN)
It all began in 1972 thanks to the passion of a baker, Ferruccio Sartarelli. Passion for his territory, passion linked to an indigenous grape variety such as Verdicchio, aiming at the production of high quality wines. It is with the passing of time and thanks to the commitment of their daughter Donatella and her husband Patrizio that the company has developed, going from the initial 15 hectares to the 60 of today, confirming itself as one of the best interpreters of appellation. The third generation, represented by Caterina and Tommaso, is already well integrated in the company and continues with the objective of enhancing Verdicchio by using the original cultivar in the entirety of the vineyards, exalting the characteristics of this extraordinary native grape that gives its best in this area. Wisely cultivated old vines, selection from old plantings of certain clones to obtain even more complex wines while maintaining the varietal typicality with more accentuated nuances, perfect exposures on the left bank of the Esino river in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi appellation, make Sartarelli unique! Fine, elegant, deep wines, perfect ambassadors of their land, a forge of great white wines in the Italian wine scene.
