Patrizia Cadore: Tradition and Quality Wine in Pozzolengo (BS)

The Cadore family's history with wine began in the 1800s, when they produced the famous Torcolato from vespaiola grapes in Mason Vicentino, near the impressive Monastery of San Biagio. Thanks to great-grandfather Francesco, Cadore wines gained fame, even going so far as to be exported to the United States.

In 1954, the family made a decisive breakthrough by purchasing vineyards in the renowned Lugana region in the province of Brescia. Adriano Cadore and his brothers ran the winery with dedication for many years. Since 2010, Patrizia, Adriano's granddaughter, has carried on the tradition with the same passion, producing high quality wines. In 2016, Giada, Patrizia's daughter, joined the winery, thus ensuring continuity and innovation.

The main grape variety is Turbiana, from which the fine Lugana is made, with vineyards covering a total area of 8 hectares, cared for with great attention. Patrizia interprets the winemaking tradition of Garda bresciano through two interpretations of Lugana: Campagna Bianca, a dry white, and a classic version, as well as a Riserva produced only in exceptional vintages.
