Produced in the area overlooking the south-east coast of Lake Garda, between Bardolino and Peschiera, this wine comes from the red vinification of Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara grapes.
It is a young wine, ruby red with violet reflections, which expresses its fruity characteristics on the nose.
BARDOLINO D.O.C.Our Bardolino is produced in the area that overlooks the south-east coast of Lake Garda, between Bardolino and Peschiera, and the nearby hinterland. It is obtained from the vinification of three grapes: Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara.Varieties: 65% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, 10% MolinarGround location and characteristics of the vineyard: between Bardolino and Peschiera; zonapedecollinare south-east of Lake Garda. Average altitude of the land: 100-150 meters above sea level.Type of soil: morainic, with consistent skeleton and presence of silt.Training system and planting density: pergola and guyot. From 2,700 to 3,000 plants per hectareAverage age of the vines: 30 yearsWeed load: 8/10 per plantWeed yield per hectare: 120 quintalsWe harvest time: end of September, beginning of October. Vinification: the grapes, destemmed and crushed, are fermented for 10 days in steel tanks at a temperature of 26°C. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is separated from the skins with soft pressing. Colour: ruby red, aroma: cherry and violet, delicate, dry, savoury with hints of almonds, harmonious. Serving temperature: 14-16 ° C. Food matches: excellent with pasta dishes, white meats and cheeses not very mature.
